Standard die cast air vents have a threaded design that requires a 1/2" hole to mount. These work for up to 10 ply shells (1/4" thick). If you have a thicker shell than 10 ply (1/4" thick), use the extra long drum vent. No special tool to mount, just insert vent into hole and screw back nut onto vent.
 

                   Check drum services if you need your shells pre-drilled for die cast vents.
